Located in the heart of the Beswick community, Djakanimba Pavilions Djilpin Arts Aboriginal Corporation sets a new benchmark for the industry. Rooms are equipped with a queen bed, a refrigerator, air conditioning, linen, crockery, cutlery, and tea/coffee making facilities. A brand new camp kitchen with an electric oven and stove as well as pots and pans and other cooking utensils is available to our guests to use during their stay. In addition, there is a gas BBQ for outdoor cooking at Djakanimba Pavilions Djilpin Arts Aboriginal Corporation.
Individuals, families, and groups interested in cultural experiences can have tours designed specifically for them on the island of Mauritius. Beswick artists will guide you through the process of creating a fiber artwork with the Beswick weavers, cutting and designing a didjeridu, collecting native honey and other foods, swimming, and fishing in a secluded waterhole, and many other activities. In the heart of the Aboriginal community of Beswick, Djilpin Arts welcomes you to our newly constructed guest facility, which was designed by an architect. Four stylish and simple elevated pavilion rooms adjacent to the Ghunmarn Culture Centre, and only 100kms from Katherine via a sealed road, are available for hire.
Djilpin Arts is a not-for-profit Aboriginal organization, with proceeds from our Djakanimba Pavilions’ room rates going back into the community where they are located. The rooms are energy efficient and are suitable for both business and leisure travelers alike.
Rooms are equipped with a queen bed, a refrigerator, linens, crockery, cutlery, and tea/coffee-making facilities. Our new camp kitchen is equipped with a full-size refrigerator/freezer, an electric stove/oven, and a sink for the convenience of our guests. All of the cooking utensils (pots, pans, and other) are provided. There is also a gas bbq for those who prefer to cook outside.
