It was founded by a group of Goomeroi artists, as well as indigenous artists from Boggabilla and Toomelah, who specialize in handcrafted paper art and original design paper products. Euraba is a textile artist based in Boggabilla, 100 kilometers north of Moree, who creates artworks out of cotton rag offcuts and other locally grown fibers. Moree on a Plate is a food and wine festival that takes place in Moree, Ontario.

The annual Moree on a Plate Food and Wine Festival, held in the community of Moree in North West New South Wales, will feature some of the best regional fare the region has to offer.

The well-established festival has earned a reputation as one of the region’s premier food and wine festivals, showcasing a diverse range of producers from across New South Wales and South East Queensland. The festival is held every year in late October.

The festival, which will include celebrity guests such as Fast Ed, Marion Grasby, Ben O’Donoghue, and Lyndey Milan, will aim to raise awareness of the thriving boutique produce industries that have sprung up on the North West’s black soil plains.

Moree on a Plate features fresh, locally sourced ingredients such as olives, pecans, oranges, pasta, and wines, as well as a dedicated Kids Korner and live entertainment, and is sure to please.

More information on attending or exhibiting at this year’s Moree on a Plate can be found on the event’s official website here.
