Situated 20 minutes from the Forbes CBD, Nu Walla Equestrian offers riding lessons for all ages, school horses available or bring your own.
Lessons are conducted by Amba McGoldrick.
Amba has had a lifelong passion for horses, dressage and teaching the basic principles of riding and horsemanship to the next generation of young horse enthusiasts. A love of horses began from the time she could walk, she competed at her first Sydney Royal Easter Show at the age of six and commenced competitive dressage at the age of nine, competing through to FEI level dressage as a young rider.
As a mother, Amba has the necessary skills and patience to assist younger riders in nurturing their love and understanding of horses, as well as developing the riding skills required for any horse riding discipline.
Amba is also an accredited EA (Equestrian Australia) dressage judge, holds a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) as well as being fully insured.
What is a riding lesson?
Available for children from the age of five years, through to adults, lessons are on a one on one basis (no groups), starting with the basics of grooming and tacking up the horse (preparing for riding) as well as safety fundamentals.
The rider and horse are then taken to the safe confines of the arena to mount and begin riding.
