Quamby Corner is a country caravan park in the Tasmanian town of Golden Valley, near Deloraine.
Caravan, campervan, and tent sites are available at the park, both powered and unpowered. On-site budget lodging is also available. Toilets, showers, laundry, a large barbecue shelter with a camp kitchen, and additional outside wood-fired barbecues and campfires are among the amenities (when conditions allow). Disabled-friendly amenities are available. The tariff includes all amenities. Campers with children can explore the vast grounds and play on the playing field. Dogs of a suitable breed are permitted only under the strict control of their owners and must be kept on a leash at all times, except in designated exercise areas.
Golden Valley Road, at the foot of Quamby Bluff, is a peaceful location. It is located on the Meander Valley Great Heritage bike ride route, adjacent to the Highland Lakes Road scenic route to Hobart via Great Lake, and close to the Tasmanian Trail and the Great Western Tiers Touring route. Liffey Falls, Quamby Bluff walking track, Huntsman’s Lake, and Mole Creek Caves are among the nearby nature reserves and National Parks.
Golden Valley, located beneath the Great Western Tiers, is about a 45-minute (60-kilometer) drive from both Launceston and Devonport.
